Ontario Liberals want to hike tuition fees on already-struggling students

QUEEN’S PARK – New Liberal Leader Bonnie Crombie pitched raising students’ post-secondary tuition fees this morning despite the province facing one of the worst affordability crises in generations.

University tuition fees in Ontario are already $1,100 more than the national average. Lifting the tuition freeze would raise them even higher.

Crombie’s Liberals would only hurt students even more – hiking up tuition and driving them even deeper into debt.

The Ontario Liberals dramatically underfunded post-secondary education in Ontario, and the Conservatives have made things worse.
