Quotes
NDP Leader Andrea Horwath
“A veteran member of our strong Hamilton team, Monique is a committed and compassionate advocate for the Hamilton Mountain community. Most recently, Monique has fought to prevent Grace Villa from being returned to the private hands that left seniors and staff vulnerable to the horrific outbreak that tore through the home. It’s situations like these that have led the NDP to vow to take the profits out of long-term care. Monique will be a valued member of our NDP government in 2022, when we’ll move quickly on priorities like ensuring high quality of health care and seniors care, giving kids the best possible public education, and helping people find homes they can afford.”
Monique Taylor, NDP candidate for Hamilton Mountain
“I have had the honour of representing Hamilton Mountain for the past 10 years, and I’m grateful to local New Democrats for their ongoing support. As we look to put the pandemic behind us, it’s going to be more important than ever to rebuild our broken long-term care system, address the growing mental health and addiction issues in our community, and help workers and small businesses get back on their feet. Andrea Horwath’s New Democrats are determined to give people this help and hope, and I’m excited to do the work that will make a difference for Hamilton Mountain families.”
