Let’s confront the shameful ways systemic bias robs Indigenous people of opportunity, safety, and even their lives. We’re calling on Ontario to:

• - Ensure Sol Mamakwa’s UNDRIP bill becomes law in Ontario
• - Support Grassy Narrows and ensure they get the community-led mercury treatment centre they deserve
• - Fix the deplorable state of housing in Indigenous communities across this province
• - Ensure access to clean, safe, drinking water in every community and every home
• - Approve a new site for the Kashechewan community
• - Spend less on armed emergency response, and more on programs and services that support and empower Indigenous communities
• - Restore the cultural language education curriculum Ford cut
• - Address The Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls inquiry’s calls to action

For far too long, Ontario has failed to back up words with actions. Building a better province for all of us is possible if we work together.
