The NDP’s Buy Ontario First motion would change that. Our plan calls for a procurement strategy that prioritizes Ontario and Canadian businesses, and requires consideration of local job creation and training opportunities when awarding public contracts.

This is about making sure the billions of dollars Ontario already spends every year are invested back into our communities — creating good jobs, supporting Ontario businesses, and strengthening our economy.
