Ontario NDP issues urgent formal notice to recall the Legislature

QUEEN’S PARK – Official Opposition House Leader and NDP critic for Legislative Affairs John Vanthof (Timiskaming—Cochrane) issued an urgent letter to Government House Leader Paul Calandra today, formally requesting he recall the Legislature immediately in the wake of the Auditor General’s damning report on the Greenbelt changes.

The formal request follows Ontario NDP Leader Marit Stiles’ call to recall the Legislature to cancel the dodgy deals with developers and restore the protected lands to Greenbelt, as per the Auditor General’s recommendation.
