TORONTO — The Ontario NDP is thrilled to thank the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF/FEESO)’s endorsement of our team of Toronto candidates.
Ontario NDP candidates in Toronto are ready to deliver the long-overdue changes needed to strengthen public education, from lowering class sizes to overhauling the funding formula to better reflect the needs of students. We will never stop fighting for meaningful investments in education.
We believe that now more than ever, political leaders must recognize the invaluable work of teachers and education workers, and the critical role excellent public education plays in our province and the lives of children and youth.
An NDP government will establish a new relationship with education workers built on respect, collaboration and a shared commitment to stronger schools. We are committed to implementing all of our 2022 Education platform commitments to ensure our public education system has the supports and resources needed for everyone to thrive.
