Quotes
NDP Leader Andrea Horwath
“As New Democrats plan to form government in 2022, I’m glad to have Gurratan on our team — he is compassionate and committed to fighting injustices like the decades-long neglect of Brampton by Liberals and Conservatives. Bramptonians are lucky to have Gurratan in their corner, and I know he will remain a strong advocate for his community as an NDP government delivers homes people can afford, improves home care and long-term care, and invests in health care, including building a new hospital in Brampton.”
Gurratan Singh, NDP candidate for Brampton East
“I’m proud to represent the people of Brampton East, and I will be running for re-election in 2022 so I can be part of the NDP government that finally gives Brampton a new hospital and ends postal code discrimination in auto insurance once and for all. Liberals and Conservatives had a chance to get these things done, and they chose not to. Brampton has an ally in Andrea Horwath, and our community will get its fair share when New Democrats get to work in 2022 ending hallway medicine, giving seniors better quality of care as they age, and helping people with their mortgage costs.”
