Brian Double chosen to be the NDP candidate in Nepean

Ottawa— New Democrats in Nepean have chosen Brian Double to be their NDP candidate in the 2022 election.

“I’m excited to be running to represent the people of Nepean and to join Andrea Horwath and the committed team of New Democrats who are ready to fix what the Ford Conservatives and years of Liberal governments have broken,” said Double.

Double has worked for the federal government for 20 years which has seen him inspecting ocean vessels for pests, travel the world to negotiate international trade agreements, manage a social media team during a Federal election, and enable economic development benefiting Indigenous communities.

"Our economy needs solutions that meet the needs of families struggling with affordability and access to essential public services. Andrea Horwath and the NDP are the team that can beat Doug Ford and deliver what matters most to the people of Ontario. I am excited to join this hard-working team,” concluded Double.
