CONVENTION 2025
From January 17th – 19th, 2025, we’re hosting the 30th biennial Ontario NDP Convention in Toronto. Join us at our first in-person Convention since 2019 to hear engaging speakers, debate policy, and build momentum towards the next election!

The Ontario NDP Convention team is committed to providing a safe and barrier-free experience to members.
Accessibility Features Offered at Convention This Year:
- Quiet Room with HEPA air purifier
- Childcare
- Special speaking priority for gender equity
- Gender-inclusive washrooms
- CART services: Closed captioning in English and French
- English and French live translation
- Masks and hand sanitizer readily available
- Frequent sanitization of common spaces and surfaces
- Access to print, digital, high contrast, and large-font delegate materials
- Immediate access to the convention's accessibility coordinator

IMPORTANT DATES
A lot goes into making the NDP Convention a success. Here are a few key dates you need to know:
- November 22: Resolution submission deadline
- December 18: Preferred hotel block booking deadline, childcare request deadline
- January 6–8: Resolution Prioritization Online
- January 16: Ontario New Democratic Youth Convention
- January 16: Emergency Resolution Submission Deadline at 12:30 pm ET
- January 17–19: Convention

VOLUNTEER
We’re looking for volunteers who can help with:
- Registration
- Supporting guests and trainers
- Answering questions
- Providing accessibility support in the plenary room
- Supporting our stage management team
All volunteers will work in shifts and have time to attend convention sessions. You'll get an inside look at all the action of a Convention, while making connections with other New Democrats from across the country.

RESOLUTIONS
The resolution submission deadline is November 22.
You can submit resolutions to resolutions@ontariondp.ca.
Resolutions must be submitted by ridings or other delegating bodies, not individuals.
