Children’s health has been impacted mentally, physically, and emotionally from the long school shutdowns. Schools re-opening this Fall should be a top priority.
Lecce has demonized education workers, ramped up the rhetoric, and dug in his heels on the cuts to children’s education. We need to make schools safer this Fall by investing in small class sizes, windows that open, better ventilation, and upgrades like touchless faucets.
Families and education workers want their kids in class where they belong this Fall. The NDP will keep fighting for a safe back-to-school plan.
